No one need defend their interest in fitness. Its benefits for longevity and mental and physical health are irrefutable. Fitness has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, help people manage their stress, sleep better, and cope with the effects of trauma and other difficult experiences.

We have taken a few days to reflect on the painful and tragic loss we know is being felt by Indigenous peoples. We are saddened and distressed regarding the recent verification of a well-known truth that was finally exposed by the discovery of the remains of 215 Indigenous children at the former Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc (Kamloops) residential school.
