Christine Nisan practices counselling and therapy in Burlington and virtually across Ontario under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Christine Nisan, Senior Consultant and therapist at a major counselling clinic has been in practice for over 35 years. She earned her Masters Degree in Counselling from the Adler University and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Christine is also a Certified Member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), as well as a long-standing member of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP). She is currently an approved Supervisor for the CRPO as well.
Christine’s areas of speciality include: Problems of anxiety, Depression (including postpartum depression), Post Traumatic Stress, Abuse, Bereavement and Grief counselling, Women’s issues, Aging, Concerns in the LGBTQ community.
Christine works in the Adlerian model of psychotherapy, which uses a cognitive approach, along with Christine’s own blend of encouragement, humour, common sense and compassion. If you would like to meet with her, she would be delighted to work with you.
