Building Mental Health Services in a Transforming World
Our annual Quality Assurance Symposium, Building Mental Health Services in a Transforming World, is less than one month away! This entirely free event is taking place virtually June 14-15, 2021. Hosting our QA during the week is a notable change from previous years. With the nice weather finally here and being conscious of Zoom fatigue, we felt it wasn’t right to ask you to spend a weekend continuing to look at a screen.
Monday, June 14 (8:30 am – 11:30 am ET), features a mandatory 3-hour session covering clinical and administrative updates. We understand not everyone will be able to attend, and make-up sessions will be available.
Tuesday, June 15, is a free professional development day, in appreciation of all your hard work, featuring various virtual workshops throughout the day. You may attend the workshops as your schedule permits. CE credits will be available.
June 15 workshop topics will include:
- Psychedelics and Psychotherapy
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism
- At Home During COVID-19: Behavioural Strategies to Teach Executive Function Skills for Children and Adolescents
