Administrative Reminder

The calendar year for tracking supervision hours is in line with supervision agreements (July 1 – June 30).

Updates to Consent to Services Forms, and Other Documents

With the upcoming release of the Client Satisfaction Survey through the Greenspace Health platform, we have updated our Consent to Service forms to include a full description of Greenspace, and purpose of the use of this service. We ask that you take the time with your client prior to their first session to review this particular clause of the Consent form. There is an “opt out” check-box for any client who does not wish to use Greenspace Health in any capacity.

As we’re updating all the Consent to Service forms, we take this opportunity to remind everyone to use the version of the form that matches the type of service you are offering. For example, there are different Consent forms for general supervised psychological counselling, psychological assessment, MVA services, etc. The name of the form will explain the type of service for which it should be used. We also ask, when at all possible, not to print off many copies of these forms, as we regularly update them based on changes to the practice and legislative requirements.

With the Consent to Service forms, we are in the process of updating all our standardized documentation forms available on the Intranet. We ask that you take a look and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

November 9, 2019 Mini QA Canceled

Thank you for holding the date of November 9, 2019 for a half-day Quality Assurance Symposium. Upon review, we do not believe there is sufficient need for a half-day QA at this time and so we have decided to cancel it. Changes to the Business Department

We’d like to share some updates regarding our Dalton Associates’ Business Department team:

Samarah Workman has embarked on a new adventure and as such, her last day in the office was last week. Samarah has been an invaluable member of the Dalton Associates team for several years as a summer student, and more recently as one of our Business Services Coordinators, and will certainly be missed. We wish Samarah the very best of luck as she makes the very big move to Australia!

In addition, at the end of November Marie Workman will also be moving on to new adventures. Her hard work, dedication, professionalism and commitment to our company made her a major contributor to the company’s success and a vital member of our Business Department. She has provided invaluable support to our associates, clients and administrative team, and will be very greatly missed. We are sad about her departure, but we wish her good luck in all her future endeavors. Please join us in wishing her the very best!

In happier news, we are excited to announce that Colin Best and Larissa Chotoo have joined our team as Junior Accountants. Colin has a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Guelph and Larissa has a Bachelor’s of Economics from the University of Waterloo. They have been training for the past few weeks. Please help us in welcoming both Colin and Larissa to our team!

We are continuing to grow our Business Department team, and are committed to keeping you updated on any changes as they unfold. Stay tuned!
