Madison Wagner is a social work intern at Dalton Associates and Master of Social Work candidate who is practicing virtual counselling in Ontario under the supervision of Registered Social Workers who are members of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Madison is completing her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in English Studies, and a Bachelor of Education Degree from Nipissing University. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers.

Madison is providing counselling services to individuals; adults and adolescents. She is supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, grief/loss, substance abuse/addiction, low self-esteem, and personal growth.

She is developing her skills in a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions and techniques to meet the needs of her clients. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Indigenous Wellness approaches to healing.

Madison has 5 years of teaching and case management experience serving remote Indigenous communities in northern Ontario. She is passionate about building a safe and collaborative space using culturally inclusive and trauma-informed approaches.
