Are you or someone you know feeling sad, anxious, overwhelmed, pressured, angry, guilty, ashamed, fearful, distressed, self-critical, lacking energy, irritable, resentful, powerless, wronged, pained, hopeless, maybe it is time you talk to someone?

Do you or someone you know: have thoughts of suicide?

Do you or someone you know: engage in self-harm behaviour?

Do you or someone you know: want to make changes to your substance use?

Are you or someone you know experiencing: behaviours, addictions or other challenges that are interfering in your daily life and relationships?

If so, it is definitely time to talk to someone.

Whatever brings you or someone you care about to therapy; I invite you to contact me.

I am a social worker practicing psychotherapy in Fergus, ON with individuals age 16+ and couples. I will work with you to heal hurts, change unwanted behaviours, build healthy coping skills, improve relationships, self-confidence and self-efficacy. We will address the issues in your life that leave you feeling stuck, unworthy, lacking control and lost by combining strategies and tools from various models of therapy that engage your rational brain, emotional brain and your body through movement.

About me: Lynda holds a Master of Social Work degree and was the 2014/15 recipient of the distinguished Ontario Graduate Scholarship. She is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Lynda has extensive experience in crisis mental health, suicide risk assessment, responding to and managing ongoing, intermittent or new thoughts of suicide. She has been providing suicide-related education and training since 2012 and offers professional consultation.
