Jae Fratzl

M.A. (Art Therapy), Registered Psychotherapist

Jae Fratzl

Jae offers Supervised Psychological Counselling under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate.

As an Art Therapist and a Registered Psychotherapist, I provide counselling both through art therapy and talk therapy approaches. I work with children as young as 3 and enjoy working with all ages in the areas of mental health such as depression, anxiety, addiction issues, illness, aging, learning disabilities, and concerns related to abuse and/or trauma. I have consulted and published in the area of workplace bullying. Because art transcends language, those with limited verbal capacity as a result of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurological issues often benefit from sessions.

I also work with Clients who have coverage through WSIB (Workplace Safety Insurance Board) and MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance), and have specialized training in treating First Responders.I believe that healthy relationships and a creative outlet are two strong forces in overcoming adversity. As such, I strive to provide a respectful, open atmosphere where client and therapist engage equally.

Art supplies are provided and you do not need to be “artistic” in order to engage in or benefit from Art Therapy.Jae Fratzl, MA, ATR, RP is a Registered Psychotherapist (Ontario) and Registered Art Therapist with the American Art Therapy Credentials Board, and a Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association.

Jae Fratzl practices counselling and therapy in Barrie under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario
