Cindy McAfee is a graduate of the Georgian College Social Service Worker program and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

She is trained in Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is experienced in group and individual counselling.

She also has fifteen years experience working with people to overcome their addiction to alcohol and drugs.

Cindy has facilitated groups at The Centre for Work Life Balance, Barrie Withdrawal Management Services, and mental health therapy sessions with various life issues at The Reflection Center.

Although Cindy is experienced working with individuals with addictions, she also works with people identifying and resolving a range of difficulties using a strength based perspective to empower them to enjoy life to its fullest
