Charmaine McIntosh practices counselling and psychotherapy, conducts psychological and psychoeducational assessments in Brampton, Georgetown and Orangeville under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologist of Ontario.
Charmaine has 17 years experience providing individual, couples and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults, from diverse and cultural backgrounds, presenting with a variety of issues via face-to-face and distance/online. She also conducts Psychological Assessments for Adoption, Immigration, Motor-Vehicle Accident, Short and Long-Term Disability, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as well as Psychoeducational Assessments for learning disabilities, giftedness, developmental delays, ADHD and school-related concerns. She has certificates in Trauma Therapy and Art in Counselling. Charmaine is a coach in training and provides life coaching.
Charmaine is a member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), American Counselling Association (ACA), American Psychological Association (APA), Association for Contextual Behavioural Science (ACBS), Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), International Association of Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCPP), International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF), North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP), Ontario Psychological Association (OPA) and the Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology (ONSAP).
