Chantal holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Laurentian University. She is a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. As a Mental Health Nurse and Psychotherapist, her focus is on individuals who struggle with grief from personal/professional loss, trauma, navigating change, life transitions, work-life balance, burn-out, depression, stress, and anxiety.

Chantal has worked with diverse populations with unique needs such as military members, veterans, first responders, first nations and LGBTQ2S. Chantal’s warm manner and her personal and professional experiences have driven her passion to create a comfortable, safe and supportive space where you can express your emotions, learn to cope with challenging situations in your life and heal from trauma.

Chantal provides specialized grief work and her health and wellness practice is holistic in nature by encompassing the whole person, which includes the emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of health to improve overall quality of life. Some of her treatment modalities include somatic-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy and others to provide an eclectic and individualized therapy approach. Her background in mental health counselling, education, training and consulting provides her with a unique understanding of the concerns facing her clients by allowing her to customize her approach to their specific needs.

When facing a life transition, family stressors, grief, loss, trauma, work challenges, relationship breakdown or any other major life change, Chantal uses the best strategies and modalities that best suit you to help you heal and move forward.
