Symptoms of Depression

• Sadness
• Loss of Interest or Pleasure

Treatment and Recovery from Depression

There is a stigma regarding depression, and many who are suffering from it are afraid to seek help, for fear of being judged. It is important to know that you are not alone, and that mental health care professionals are specifically trained to help individuals recover from depression. Depression can be diagnosed by a Psychologist, Psychiatrist or family doctor. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has been widely studied and is an effective treatment for depression. CBT addresses negative thinking patterns and helps clients to think differently about themselves and their lives. At Dalton Associates, we have many trained mental health care practitioners to assist you as you recover from depression.
