Michael Diotte practices counselling in the GTA / Durham Region under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Michael Diotte is a clinical counsellor and certified trauma counsellor.  His practice is located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the Durham Region.  His counselling experience spans over 25 years with special attention given to emotional, financial, marital, relational, family and other personal issues.

Michael’s motto is “Refreshing through Reconciliation”. Michael’s calm, engaging and personable approach creates a safe, welcoming, understanding and positive counselling environment.

He offers client-centered therapy incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches, which he has come to term ‘Fusion-Therapy’. This focus highlights the client’s strengths and abilities while guiding them towards their desired outcome.

When one is reconciled to their dreams or goals, a refreshing comes to their being. This renewed purpose in life brings significant benefits to that person and to their relationships.

Michael also provides coaching and mentoring for work, career and school related issues such as: Career Transition & Development; Work-Life Balance; Workplace Bullying, and Leadership-Coaching. Michael now works with emergency workers as well as WSIB and MVA clients.

Michael is a registered METIS citizen and is under the supervision of a registered member of the College of Registered Psychologists of Ontario and is also a certified member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
