Kent offers Supervised Psychological Counselling under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate.

Kent Shelley practices counselling and therapy as a Registered Psychotherapist in Goderich under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Kent Shelley, Registered Psychotherapist and Professional Coach, has experienced life as a Husband, Father, Youth Director, Teacher, Long Haul Truck Driver, Hospital Chaplain, Counsellor, and Relationship Coach.

His own journey afforded him many opportunities to experience the joy, stress, emotions and practical challenges of personal relationships, parenting, job losses, vocational transitions, and the loss of loved ones.

He understands the necessity of practical support, objective perspective, and sustaining hope.

Kent is certified in Choice Theory & Reality Therapy (William Glasser Institute) and Professional/Life Coaching (Yavapai College). He is a Registered Psychotherapist (College of Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario), and a certified Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals).

Years of life experience and professional training equip him to guide his clients to discover practical solutions to their problems.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies and a Master’s Degree in Education.

Kent authored “I Have A Choice? Cultivating Better Relationships and Increasing Personal Happiness” (2010), and co-authored the “Relationship Owner’s Manual,” (2019) for creating, strengthening and repairing relationships.

Kent offers his clients personable, convenient, and effective virtual (video and/or phone) counselling.
